Empowering students to become scholars
Our Afterschool Programs are offered to all of our kids at Mary Poppins
Tutoring - Reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments, assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks, and working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom.
Art - Art instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness. Visual arts teach learners about color, layout, perspective, and balance: all techniques that are necessary in presentations (visual, digital) of academic work.
Music - We will offer music classes to student giving them tools they need todevelop an understanding of and appreciation for music.
Dance - Dance, the movement of the body in a rhythmic way, usually to music and within a given space, for the purpose of expressing an idea or emotion, releasing energy, or simply taking delight in the movement itself. They learn to work as part of a group that is learning and dancing together.
Other activities offered are a full library, outdoor playground, cooking class and so much more.
